Good news! In the past year, we’ve ported our plugins to every major video editor on both Windows and the Mac. So, odds are you’ll find it in this list.
No problem! Each plugin will install for all available NLEs on the computer. For example, if you bought the Windows version of Video Essentials, and you are running Sony Vegas and Adobe After Effects on the same computer, you can install it simultaneously for both.
If you have an earlier version of the plugin that is dedicated to just one NLE, then simply upgrade to the latest version by downloading the latest installer from our trial page and your original license will apply to all other NLEs on your computer.
I love Cartoonr, but is there any way I can get rid of the NewBlueFX latest news page that pops up every few days when I use it?
Yes!
Upgrade to Cartoonr Plus in Paint Effects! Not only will you get an enhanced version of Cartoonr and a bunch of other really cool paint techniques, but you’ll no longer see that web page.
I just purchased a NewBlueFX plug-in and installed it on my computer. It shows up in my NLE, but it draws the NewBlueFX logo over the video frame. How do I remove this watermark?
In order to remove the watermark, you must activate the product first. To do so, run the "Manage Activation" program that is installed along with the plug-in. You can find this application from the Windows Start menu or from a button shown in the control panel where you can adjust the various settings. On the Mac, you must place the plugin on a clip and then click on the Activate button in the Options strip in the effect control panel.
For example, in Windows to activate NewBlue Motion Blends, go to Start->Programs->NewBlue->Motion Blends->Manage Activation. Then, paste your serial number into the form. Ta-da! No more watermark.
Or, on the Mac, place one of the Motion Blends transitions on a clip. Go to the control UI for the transition and clip on the Activate button to open the Activation Manager. Then, paste your serial number into the form.
Ta-da! No more watermark.
I just purchased a NewBlue product and during the installation process, my antivirus software suggests it might contain adware or a virus. What should I do?
Rest assured, NewBlue products contain neither adware, nor viruses. Nonetheless, a few anti-virus applications don’t like our installer.
Although we are confident you’ll find no malicious effects from NewBlue product installations, you can be 100% sure by right-clicking on the file in the file browser to verify that it is Digitally Signed by NewBlue, Inc.
