Meet Todor Fay, NewBlue CTO and product architect, at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, April 10-15, 2010. He will demonstrate creative techniques and provide useful production workflow tips using the recently introduced NewBlueFX image stabilizer and Video Essentials III plugins, followed by a Q&A session. Not only will this session give you the opportunity to meet the man behind NewBlueFX, but it will also be opened up for your feedback and requests.

You will find Todor at the Sony Creative Software Main Stage at 1 pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Booth # C10515. And if you have time, stop by the NewBlueFX kiosk within the Sony Creative Software booth from 1:00PM – 6:00PM Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Ray Roman was a police officer for fifteen years and often wondered if there was something else out there that he could “build a passion for,” much like he did for his police work. One day he decided that he was going to simply transfer some old family video footage of his kids to DVD. He made a visit to a local electronics retail store to purchase an inexpensive transfer mechanism so that he could begin the conversion process. This little piece of equipment also came with a limited version of an editing software program. He imported his family video into the program and thought that what he was creating looked like a movie.
