To find the user’s guide for each NewBlueFX product, first add the specific NewBlue plugin to a clip. Then open the effect’s control panel and click the “?” button or “Help” button. (The actual icon or text may differ from one NLE to the other) Doing so will open the user’s guide, which will explain the various settings and explain how the effect will work with your NLE.
If you are using Windows, you have another option: Go to the Windows Start menu, choose All Programs, then NewBlue – NewBlueFX product. From there, you can easily select the appropriate help file for your NLE.
Problem: I added Stabilizer Pro to a clip, click on Analyze, and get the following error.. “an invalid argument was specified”
Answer: The solution in your case is to uninstall Stabilizer. Then reinstall Stabilizer and, this time, pick “Sony Vegas Movie Studio and older Pro versions” as the target application. You will no longer have an “Analyze” button as the Movie Studio version analyzes on the fly.
The Pro version uses scripting to go through the analyzing process which the Movie Studio versions of Vegas do not support. With Movie Studio, it analyzes on the fly which means you may wish to do some pre-rendering or ram-rendering while adjusting the settings. Otherwise, the two versions work the same.
Problem: I have multiple areas I need to blur but Pixelator only blurs a single area.
Answer: In typical scenarios like blurring faces, Pixelator, part of Video Essentials, can be used to blur multiple areas within your video footage. Simply apply Pixelator multiple times to the specific clip - one time for each area that needs to be blurred.

Problem: I installed an effects package but some effects are not in the list. What happened to the rest?
Answer: After installing some packages in EDIUS, you can find the plugins in two places:
Keying effects are listed under “Keyers” in the NewBlue categories. There you will find the additional effects.
The remaining effects are located under “Video Filters” in the NewBlue categories.
