In this edition of Tips & Techniques, Ian Stark demonstrates how use the Colorize filter in Art Effects to add drama by creating the look of a monotone image with hand painted colors. In just a few clicks, he can enhance the video by reducing color saturation and emphasizing specific hues to catch the eye and grab attention.

The Metallic transition, found in the NewBlue Art Blends collection, is a lot of fun to work with. You can warp the first image into twisted metal and then warp back out into the second image.

Also there are some unexpected things you can do with it if you play with the controls.
