If you’re looking to shake up your videos, check out Motion Effects. This collection is designed to add motion to your film. Simulating an earthquake, blurring images, rippling frames and even simulating a plane crash (as seen in the first episode of Hot in Cleveland). Check out the video below to learn more about Motion Effects (and the sister collection Motion Blends).
In this edition of Tips & Techniques, Todor Fay shows you how to use Motion Blends to quickly and easily create beautiful animated title wipes. Motion Blends transitions work with alpha transparency, so that the same motion oriented transitions that twist, roll, and shake one scene into another can also be softened and applied to text letters with elegant results.
Looking for an easy way to add interest to your latest project? Take a look at Motion Blends and Motion Effects. With 20 plugins and over 200 presets, Motion Blends and Motion Effects will move your scenes and your audiences. Motion Blends features transitions that spin, roll, twist, and twirl to add life to your scenes and engage your viewers, while Motion Effects increases the energy and creates action by blurring, rippling, and warping. It can even simulate an earthquake. Shake things up this summer - give NewBlue Motion Blends and Motion Effects a whirl!

Wiggle is a wonderful tool for adding dynamic movement and distortion to your video image by using it to add a rippling motion to the vertical or horizontal axis.

Wiggle Effect
You can also use Wiggle to move the image side to side or up and down without that ripple. To do so, drop Wiggle’s Rate to 0, so it can’t bend, and then dial up Drift, which effectively controls the speed of movement. The image moves from side to side without any visible wiggle.
