To find the user’s guide for each NewBlueFX product, first add the specific NewBlue plugin to a clip. Then open the effect’s control panel and click the “?” button or “Help” button. (The actual icon or text may differ from one NLE to the other) Doing so will open the user’s guide, which will explain the various settings and explain how the effect will work with your NLE.

If you are using Windows, you have another option: Go to the Windows Start menu, choose All Programs, then NewBlue – NewBlueFX product. From there, you can easily select the appropriate help file for your NLE.

Although Pixelator, which is part of Video Essentials, can only blur one face at a time, there’s nothing stopping you from using it more than once on the same clip. Simply apply Pixelator multiple times to the specific clip - one time for each area that needs to be blurred – and then set the controls independently for each.
