From time to time, the NewBlueFX development team adds improvements or updates to our products. At this time, we’re pleased to offer a set of exciting, no charge upgrades to all of our VideoFX products. Please review the list below.
If you have purchased NewBlueFX, downloading and installing these files will automatically update your plugins to the latest version. We hope you will enjoy these new features and functions.
To find the user’s guide for each NewBlueFX product, first add the specific NewBlue plugin to a clip. Then open the effect’s control panel and click the “?” button or “Help” button. (The actual icon or text may differ from one NLE to the other) Doing so will open the user’s guide, which will explain the various settings and explain how the effect will work with your NLE.
If you are using Windows, you have another option: Go to the Windows Start menu, choose All Programs, then NewBlue – NewBlueFX product. From there, you can easily select the appropriate help file for your NLE.
Although Pixelator, which is part of Video Essentials, can only blur one face at a time, there’s nothing stopping you from using it more than once on the same clip. Simply apply Pixelator multiple times to the specific clip - one time for each area that needs to be blurred – and then set the controls independently for each.

We’re pleased to introduce a new, revamped Knowledgebase for NewBlueFX designed to support your product issues and questions. We’ve reorganized our support articles so that you can find help easily. For example, each article now displays the host platform and subject in the title. We’ve also included a search function that allows you to search by either NLE or NewBlueFX product.
