Problem: NewBlueFX effects and transitions are not showing up in Avid Media Composer.

Answer: The NewBlueFX transitions require AVX version 2.0. Mostly likely your version of Avid is older. If your version is still AVX 1.0, you will need to update to an AVX 2.0 version to use the effects transitions. Unfortunately, Avid doesn’t publish the information on their site.
