The Library tab lets you add effects, animations, transitions, shapes, and select presets and templates to your title. These are all pre-defined looks which can be fully modified to suit your needs. In addition to the pre-defined items, you can also create your own styles that can be added to this tab by saving your own presets and templates. When you hover over any preset, your selected paragraph will change to show how that preset or template will affect your title allowing you to preview the setting before adding it to your paragraph. Then simply double-click the style to add it to the selected paragraph or drag the style to any paragraph.
Any created style can be saved as a preset for quick access on future titles. Create your presets by going to File – Save Preset… and choose the proper preset type. See the Menu Options section for more details.
Under Effects, Animations and Starter Pack will be listed. Starter Pack is a set of effects and transitions provided with Titler Pro and are updated and activated when Titler Pro is updated and activated. The Starter Pack effects will also be available to use in your video editor. In addition, other NewBlue effects can also be added to Titler Pro and will also be listed in this section if installed.
Any added effect will last the entire length of the paragraph. You can add as many effects as needed to achieve the desired look.
When you right-click an effect, there are options to Copy, Delete, or Duplicate an effect. If you choose Copy, you can then paste the effect on any paragraph. Delete will remove the effect from the paragraph. Duplicate will add another instance of the effect to the paragraph.
The Lighting section contains several lighting presets allowing you to quickly get everything from a dim room, police lights, search lights, and other interesting lighting effects. Use the preset for a quick look or design your own looks using the lighting controls.
Paragraph Template Library
The Paragraph templates allows you to choose from a list of fully produced paragraphs including text styles, effects, animations, and transitions. Just add your own words, and you have a fully produced paragraph. There are also additional templates available for purchase which can be added to Titler Pro such as the Hillcrest Collection shown in this image.
Project Template Library
The Project Templates section is where you will find any project templates you have created. There are also additional templates available for purchase which can be added to Titler Pro such as the Lower 3rds Collections shown in this image.
The Shapes section contains a number of pre-made shapes. Please see the Working with Shapes section for more information.
The Styles section contains many pre-made styles to simplify creating your titles. Choose from a number of designs to more quickly finish your projects. In addition to the default included styles, additional styles can be purchased and added to Titler Pro such as the Hillcrest Collection shown in this image.
Under Transitions, Animations and Starter Pack will be listed. Starter Pack is a set of effects and transitions provided with Titler Pro and are updated and activated when Titler Pro is updated and activated. The Starter Pack transitions will also be available to use in your video editor. In addition, other NewBlue transitions can also be added to Titler Pro and will also be listed in this section. A transition is added either to the beginning of a paragraph – like a fade-in, or to the end of a paragraph – like a fade-out. Unlike your video editor, you can also add multiple transitions to the fade-in and fade-out positions. Transitions can also be dragged on the timeline in position to the out position or from the out position to the in position as well.
You can also transition between two paragraphs by simply overlapping them on the Titler Pro timeline. Any transition can then be added to that overlapped area to modify the transition. If a transition is not added, both paragraphs will be visible during the overlapped time.
When you right-click a transition, there are options to Copy, Delete, or Duplicate a transition. If you choose Copy, you can then paste the transition on any paragraph with an option to paste as an In or Out transition. Delete will remove the transition from the paragraph. Duplicate will add another instance of the transition to the paragraph.
In addition, multiple in and out transitions can be added to a paragraph. Many very interesting results can be achieved by combining multiple transitions at once.
Items may also be listed under the Add-Ons section. If any effects or transitions packages are listed in the Add-Ons section, they have been installed but have not yet been activated. Once activated, they will appear in the proper Effects or Transitions sections above.
